Robert Politzer is Founder and CEO of GreenStreet Global, a NYC-based company focused on providing innovative green building and energy efficiency solutions to reduce operating expenses (OPEX) and increase net operating income (NOI) for commercial real estate properties. Robert’s expertise focuses on building operational efficiency, energy optimization, and compliance with evolving decarbonization regulations, particularly those like NYC Local Law 97.
A long-time advocate for achieving net zero goals and environmental responsibility, Robert’s work aligns with the increasing global focus on sustainable building practices, contributing to economic and ecological goals. Robert helps commercial property owners nationwide, including family offices, pension funds, REITS, private equity firms, and owner-operators who own multi-family apartments, hotels and resorts, hospitals and medical centers, industrial properties, school dormitories, senior housing and assisted living / nursing homes, navigate the complexities of decarbonization regulation compliance while creating long-term value for their properties and portfolios.
Under Robert’s guidance, GreenStreet Global thrives as a leading force in green real estate, bringing cutting-edge solutions to the forefront of the industry. Robert was NYC’s first green building contractor and since 1998 has worked on leading-edge clean renewable power and smart building projects including the first grid-tied residential solar PV project in NYC. A LEED accredited professional and C-RED Certified Developer, Robert is the former chair of the NYS Sustainable Business Task Force and former chair of the Green Design and Construction Committee of the Manhattan Chamber of Commerce.
